I remember it well. John & Thelma Kraybill gave me a base to find my 1W service job as radiotherapy department receptionist at a NYC cancer hospital as a conscientious objector in lieu of military service. I attended their storefront church in Harlem. Charlie was born then, and now I follow Charlie’s Marginal Mennonite Society on Facebook.
